Gratitude | Quarantine diaries

Hola Amigos!

Expressing gratitude invites abundance and expands our hearts.

I was wondering that at this point when COVID-19 has almost wrecked us out, why not ponder on the positive changes it has brought in our lives.

First of all, I am grateful that I am in good health and a rather great spot if we go by the number of cases detected here in the Cayman Islands. The government is taking strict measures to curb down even the minute possibility of having the transmission and prosecuting those who are violating the curfew guidelines.

Quarantining is also bringing in the self-discipline and helping me stick to a routine which gives a sense of accomplishment and helps me organize my day well. I start working at 9 in the morning and try to shut down the machine by 6 PM sharp to walk barefoot in the lush green grass. I can't be grateful enough for the greenery, weather and natural beauty that Cayman holds. Its sweet and warm weather nourishes the mind, body, and soul.

The best time to go out is the Golden hour when the sun is shining, birds are chirping and fresh wind is blowing to help you relax and focus on your breathing. Such a kind of environment centers you and helps release happy hormones. I practice yoga and a set of quick exercises to keep myself fit.

My balcony is the best yoga studio which has blue sky above to watch, lush green trees giving essential air and chirping birds for the melody!
